Garlic is available all year round and can be either standard, jumbo or elephant garlic.
The best garlic comes from France.
It can be used to flavour all manner of dishes, soups sauces and salads.

Preparation Methods
To prepare garlic you can peel and crush, slice or finely chop.
Garlic can also be macerated in olive oil or used in mayonnaise and many sauce recipes.
Garlic is cooked as a composite ingredient - strong flavour and should be used sparingly when very fresh.
