Personal Profile

A talented multimedia developer with a strong background in learning technologies and instructional design, I have proven experience in the creation and delivery of blended and distance learning courses and materials.

Technical skills include Flash/Flex/Air, XHTML/CSS, JavaScript, PHP/MySQL together with graphic design, audio and video production, 3D visualisation and a passion for standards compliant, accessible design. My current areas of interest include Rich Internet Applications and smart phone development for mobile learning.

Trained in film and audio production and engineering I worked in the UK and around the world, releasing albums, composing film scores and producing promotional videos before setting up my own London-based design agency. Marrying my design skills with a strong interest in new media I soon concentrated on content creation for CDROM and web delivery.

In addition to developing extensive HTML/PHP and Flash development skills I have gained solid experience of client liaison, project management and planning. I have a particular passion for accessibility, usability and interface design and have recently focused my talents in the field of e-learning, developing creative solutions for the delivery of audio/video streaming media as well as building content management systems for non-IT literate users.

As an experienced multimedia producer, designer and developer in both the public and private sectors, I am always interested in opportunities which will enable me to further explore creative and innovative uses of all communication and information technologies and media.
